How it is Done

CFC Neutralizer Renders Refrigerants Harmless

We installed a CFC neutralizer that breaks down refrigerants from refrigerators and air conditioners and renders them harmless. We recover refrigerants from industrial waste from customers, including HFC, PFC and SF6, carry out intermediate processing of related equipment and neutralize refrigerants all at once.

*Our HFC, PFC and SF6 recovery/destruction unit introduction and demonstration was approved by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) as a FY2008 Global Warming Prevention Support Activity.

Workflow

  • STEP 01Analysis (Preliminary Examination)

    We ascertain how CFCs are used in the customer's industrial waste.
    ・We confirm the type and volume of CFCs, etc.

  • STEP 02Proposal

    A cost estimate is presented.

  • STEP 03Contract

    When handling both equipment and gas processing:
    ・We sign a service agreement for industrial waste processing.
    ・We present the necessary information for the agreement required by laws and ordinances, etc.

  • STEP 04Start of Recovery/Destruction

    ・We recover refrigerants such as CFCs from the industrial waste collected by us or brought in by the customer using a recovery device.
    ・We collect refrigerants such as CFCs from industrial waste held on site by customers (on-site recovery).
    ・We manage the waste appropriately using manifests.
    ・We send the tanks containing the collected CFCs, etc., to another company for destruction.

  • STEP 05Outsourced Decomposition/Neutralization

    ・Decomposition/neutralization through burning
    ・Destruction certificate is issued.

  • STEP 06Data Management

    ・We manage the manifests.
    ・We issue and manage various photographic data and certificates, including destruction certificates.
